Easy WiFi is a Windows tool that simplifies the process of discovering and connecting to hotspots.

Easy WiFi can discover available hotspots and connect to them automatically. The program is highly focused, performs its core function very well and is really simple to install and use. Easy WiFi doesn’t take up much space on disk, can load with Windows and can run in the background without using many resources.

The automatic detection of WiFi hotspots is quite reliable, and the app will automatically attempt to connect for you; also, it will continue this process until it succeeds or exhausts its options. It can remember the hotspots you use for faster access, and if a connection requires a password, and you provide it, it will remember that as well.

You can instruct Easy WiFi to forget hotspots so that it doesn’t waste time attempting connection to a hotspot you can or don’t want to use. You can also set hotspots as preferred, so the program will attempt to connect to those first. There’s no way to prioritize favorited connections, and priority will always be based on last use. If you have no preferred hotspots, then Easy WiFi will attempt to connect based on signal strength. Stronger signals receive priority.

The biggest problem with Easy WiFi is that almost every modern laptop and other Windows device now includes this functionality. This was certainly a useful app when that wasn’t the case, but it just seems redundant now. Some Easy WiFi competitors make themselves more appealing with additional features, but unfortunately, Easy WiFi does nothing like optimize hotspot connections, enhance security and so forth.
